L’Etoile Sportive du Sahel, a battu le club algérien CS Constantinois 70 à 61, mardi soir à Sousse, dans le cadre de la 5ème et dernière journée du premier tour du championnat d’Afrique des clubs champions de basket-ball (groupe “A”).
La formation sahelienne, qui compte 4 victoires contre une seule défaite, termine en tête de son groupe et affrontera en quarts de finale, le quatrième classé du groupe “B”, Kano Pilars (Kenya) ou Malabo Kings (Guinée Equatoriale), qui s’affrontent dans la soirée pour un billet pour le deuxième tour. Les trois autres clubs qualifés sont le SC Alexandrie (Egypte), CS Constantinois (Algérie) et Tally BB (Gabon). Les quarts de finale auront lieu jeudi.
