L’Etoile Sportive du Sahel a été battue par la formation egyptienne SC Alexandrie 69 à 70, samedi soir à Sousse, en match comptant pour la 3e journée du Groupe A du championnat d’Afrique des clubs champions de basket-ball, oganisé par le club sahélien du 12 au 21 décembre.
Aupravant et dans le cadre du même groupe, les Algériens du CS Constantinois se sont imposés face aux Gabonais de Tally BB (76-60), tandis que les Mozambicains de Ferroviaro ont pris le meilleur sur les Libyens du LPRC Oilers (86-67). Dans le Groupe “B”, Ahly Benghazi (Libye) a battu Kano Pillars (Nigéria) 98-93 et Libolo (Angola) a infligé une sevère défaite à Urunani (Burundi) 120-48. Le dernier match du groupe oppose dans la soirée, Malabo Kings (Mozambique) à Primeiro Agusto (Angola).
