Le CS Sfaxien a battu Ahly Benghazi de Libye (3-1), en match comptant pour la 1ère journée de la Ligue des champions d’Afrique de football (Groupe B), disputé dimanche au stade Taieb Mhiri à Sfax.
Les buts ont été inscrits par Taha Yassine Khenissi (15), Mahmoud Ben Salah (34) et Ghazi Challouf (86) pour le CS Sfaxien, et par Bassem Boulaabi contre son camp (27) pour Ahly Benghazi. Samedi à Radès, l’Espérance de Tunis s’est inclinée face aux Algériens de l’ES Sétif (1-2), pour le compte du même groupe. Au terme de cette journée, le CS Sfaxien occupe la tête du classement du Groupe B, ex aequo avec l’ES Sétif (3 pts), devant l’Espérance de Tunis et Ahly Benghazi qui se partagent la 3e place (0 pt).
