Grâce à ce succès à l’extérieur, Tottenham se retrouve à 5 points de Manchester City et à 17 points du leader Manchester United. West Ham compte après ce revers toujours 30 points et se trouve à la 14e place, à 6 points du premier relégable, Aston Villa.
